One of GGR Group’s mini crawler cranes has been used to install a new, modern entrance and play area at Soho’s Parish School. The school redevelopment programme is the culmination of three years of fundraising and GGR are delighted to have helped the specialist contractor to complete the project. The new play area is made up of eight cubes each weighing up to a tonne; the mini telescopic crawler made light work of lifting and installing the cubes. Its 2.35m wide base and solid tracks provide it with the stability to lift and travel with loads up to 2 tonnes in weight.
Our compact and transportable UNIC mini spider cranes are taken to all sorts of lifting locations, but this UNIC URW-706 crane has surely gone to one of the most spectacular spots around as it sits at the very top of The Shard.
As one of the strongest spider cranes on the market, GGR’s 6 tonne capacity UNIC URW-706 mini crane is proving more and more popular for taking on heavy duty lifting operations both in the UK and in Europe. Nuclear site management contractor Magnox has recently purchased a URW-706 spider crane to assist in its site management projects.
